about

Alas... my first album as a solo artist. I released this when I was 17. I like to think of it as a good starting point, but not something I would recommend unless you've listened to every other album a million times and are interested in how they came to be.

With the exceptions of:
Bryan Bednarek – Rhythm Guitar on “Algonquin Road” (written and recorded)

Track Name: Valo
Dreams slowly eroding away
Track Name: Friend
lets go
to what we used to know
don't, don't slow
its ok for you to go

you will leave me
i will drive you home
and when you leave me
ill spend my day alone

don't, don't slow
its ok for you to go

you will leave me
i will drive you home
and when you leave me
ill spend my day at home
Track Name: Algonquin Rd.
algonquin road
do you grow old
do you wind down
lights out sleep sound
or drift on and on during the drive

the week is back again
and i wait to see my friends
and im counting down the days
for the weekend
and if i let my mind stray
i realize i still miss those days

algonquin road
do you grow old
do you wind down
lights out sleep sound
or drift on and on during the drive

did i treat you well
if i tried could you tell
were you counting down the days
its been a year now
its not a forever, i knew
i will never forget you

algonquin road
do you grow old
do you wind down
lights out sleep sound
or drift on and on during the drive
Track Name: Poetry Taken Literally
This girl kept telling me to write a song about her
I don't think she knows it doesn't work like that
but its the same question that she would always ask
so heres a song for you, if you want it that bad

I don't care about you

I remember trying to find the right words to say
that you've started to drink and I don’t think its ok
but you had so much fun telling me so
its nice to know that things aren't like that no more

I don't care about you

you would tell me these things that were wrong about me
and I can't believe that I was listening
you told me that you were all I had
well your out of my life, and your not coming back

I don't care about you
Track Name: Union, Il
stretch on, your gone, from me
stretch on, your far, from me

if we go far enough
the land will hide us
look out as we drive
and watch the earth go by

stretch on, your gone, from me
stretch on, your far, from me

if we go far enough
we'll leave those things behind
if we've had, had enough
we'll leave all that behind us

stretch on, your gone, from me
stretch on, your far, from me
stretch on, your gone, from me
(if we go far enough
we'll leave those things behind)
stretch on, your far, from me
(if we've had, had enough
we'll leave all that behind us)
